Thank you so much for staying patient while I'm waiting for the lockdown in Sydney to end. Unfortunately I can't make any orders until November (at the earliest) as I can barely leave the house, but I deeply appreciate all the support and enthusiasm that you have show ANICIC so far. The runway show has been moved til February 2022 but I promise it will be worth the wait. Until then, stay safe, take care of each other and continue to support the slow fashion movement ❤️🌏 Your support is changing the world for the better.

Hi! I haven't properly introduced myself yet ☺️ My name is Anna Anicic and I am the founder and Creative Director of ANICIC.

I was born and raised in Sweden and moved to Sydney, Australia in 2016, where I'm currently studying a Masters of Design with research focus on sustainability.

My interest for drawing fashion and sewing clothes started when I was in kindergarten and I would often have fashion shows for my mom in our living room. As a daughter of two immigrants I never felt like I was fitting in anywhere, and being creative with my self expression via clothes, music and art helped me to form my own sense of identity and belonging.

My dream of ANICIC started in 2015. I wanted to offer expressive, high quality fashion that didn't hurt the planet, was cruelly-free and offered diversity beyond Eurocentric beauty standards. Something that would inspire people to be their highest self. I officially launched the brand 6 months ago in Dec 2020, although it already feels like forever. I hope you will join me on this journey towards towards more compassionate and sustainable practices in the fashion industry while celebrating all the beauty in diversity 💞
