Oh my Gosh! Monday night's Sydney Content Strategy Meetup went off like a cracker! The challenge was to make a joint asset. A list of content editing and structuring activities that would improve LLM findability. But first, we ran a workshop exercise to benchmark current LLM performance, loosely following this method. https://www.ellegeraghty.com.au/blog/2026/llm-content-discoverability-experiment. And the results were fascinating! Different LLMs returned wildly different results, and the same LLMS also returned different results on repeat ex*****on.
We followed this up with a thoroughly interactive panel starring Claire Mahoney and Debbie Yeung. These guys are pros, and you should be following them.
The conclusion we came to? Let's get serious about all the content cleanup and SEO optimisation activities you have been putting off for years, because those content improvements are the best way to improve the findability of your content via LLMs or otherwise.
I love this community and Monday night was such a great example of us coming together and growing our communal knowledge. Thanks for your generosity and smarts! 15 years down, another 15 to go. I wonder what our work will look like then!
Thanks, Luke Ellery and Priya Varghese, for being fab Atlassian hosts!
