Sydney Townhall put on a show tonight - and what’s more remarkable during National Skills Week - is winning a category that showcases our purpose - Changing Lives through Education.
Access and equity for all learners and their abilities, giving women their own unique skills to run their businesses as entrepreneurs, giving our First Nations community the ability to get their tropical Biosecurity qualification and giving over 5000 incarcerated people the basic literacy and language skills to be employable for successful rehabilitation.

📚National Skills Week 2026 is here and aEX Institute (BSI Learning) had the absolute privilege to attend the NSW Launch 🚀.

A week long annual event championing vocational education and training. Promoting job opportunities, diverse career pathways and life-changing stories that are at the heart of Australia’s future workforce. Supported by federal and state governments and working with industry and training providers, the week connects stakeholders, celebrates success and inspires all Australian’s to explore the career possibilities that VET makes possible.

The official theme is "Life Changing," focusing on the profound impact of VET and hands-on career pathways across Australia 🇦🇺. Very much aligned to our own vision “Changing Lives through Education “ at aEX Institute (BSI Learning).

On 27 August, we'll be swapping suits for denim and "Baking It Blue" with a special morning tea to support Jeans for Genes and the incredible work of the Children's Medical Research Institute.

Every donation helps fund research into childhood genetic conditions, bringing us closer to better treatments, earlier diagnoses, and brighter futures for children and their families.

What a beautiful project with Kritika Singh, we sent 60 copies of her book Billabong Bus 📚 to Aboriginal children in NT.

From Wednesday 27 May until Friday 10 July, aEX (BSI Learning) collected books as part of The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation's Share-A-Book campaign and Tech Drive.

ALNF’s Share-A-Book program is a powerful initiative that provides new and pre-loved, quality and culturally appropriate books to communities, big and small, across the nation. Children’s books are donated to ALNF by schools, corporations, publishing houses, booksellers and individuals. These books are then distributed to First Nations, refugee and marginalised communities across Australia such as Palm Island, Warmun, Tennant Creek, Kempsey, and many more. This year, there has been an increased need for early years books.

Literacy is Freedom.💛🖤❤️

This year's NAIDOC Week theme celebrates five decades of honouring the strength, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
It recognises the Elders, leaders, artists, advocates and communities whose courage and determination have shaped the movement over the past 50 years, while looking ahead to the generations who will continue that legacy.
For organisations, NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to do more than acknowledge the occasion. It's a chance to listen to First Nations voices, deepen cultural understanding, and reflect on how we can build workplaces where respect, inclusion and truth-telling are part of everyday practice.
We recognise that meaningful learning starts with listening. We honour the legacy of those who came before and the communities who continue to lead the way.
