In July 2008 we identified the need for a specialist recruitment business for the chartered accounting and legal markets across Australia. We felt that whilst many recruitment companies operated in this space, many didn’t specialise in professional services and therefore didn’t fully appreciate the various challenges and intricacies firms face when attracting and retaining talent in to their businesses. Once the idea was thought, and the framework of our business established, Signature Consulting began trading in January 2009. When we set our sights on establishing a recruitment business specialising in the accounting and legal space we wanted a brand that complemented our chosen markets. We felt strongly the word Signature identifies with our markets, and resinates on a daily basis within the world of professional services. But we are also passionate foodies, and therefore related the word “Signature” to a chef’s signature dish. That coupled with our consultative approach, meant Signature Consulting was the brand we wanted to take to market, Our Signature is our Talent.
