We are Creative Types and we do print and imaging the way it should be done.. with years of experience from operating film cameras to shoot artwork, developing the film, film planning, plate making to actually running Heidelberg presses. Then came along Rupert Murdoch and the Apple Mac.. which wiped out several trades like camera operators and film planners...and the rest as they say, is history and we've been hot on that ever since. IMAGE IS EVERYTHING to us and should be to you too, as your prospective as well as existing clients want to see quality in print. First impressions go a long way... it can make all the difference from getting that business from them.. We accept files as native Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, QuarkXpress and PDF formats. We pre-flight your artwork and advise of potential problems, or we can fix them for you. We do advise not to use Microsoft Publisher or Word to create artwork as these are designed for office-based output and not for high-end commercial print. Once your files have been checked we will send a print ready PDF back to you if you are only using our Prepress Services and have your own preferred printer, or we will produce the print job and courier to you. Before we print we prefer to send out a hard copy proof as PDF proofs (soft proofs) can be a little misleading viewing on-screen due to the quality of your monitor and especially transparency flattening and overprint settings you may have applied within your design and final art. If you do not have any artwork, we can generate that for you if required. We are a bit old school as adapted through the vast changes in the print industry over the years.. but we like to do things right and not cut corners. Creative Types - Print the way it should be.
