The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) 2014 Awards for Excellence were presented at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre gala dinner in front of an industry crowd from across Australia and New Zealand.

Entries from organisers, venues and suppliers from across Australia and New Zealand were reviewed by an independent panel of judges. Each category was assessed by three judges and their scores consolidated to determine the winners.

VIM Media & Events were honoured to be awarded 'Best Supplier Team' for their work in 2014 with League of Legends for Riot Games.

The VIM team is exhausted from running our Australian Cyber League branded Sydney event for over 600 gamers. Here we ran consecutively 5 live video streams across 5 different titles!

Australian Cyber League's second Live Event for 2014 hosting League of Legends, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Starcraft II, Fifa 14, Super Smash Bros and Hearthstone.

VIM were responsible for end to end management of Riot Games's League of Legends Autumn Regional Final held at Supanova on the Gold Coast over April 5th - 6th. VIM successfully executed the stand build, AV & tech installation and ran live video production over the event for both fans in the venue and watching online from home. 4 teams were competing live at Supanova for a $45,000 prize pool and a direct slot into the Winter season.

A few weeks ago VIM ran the ANZ leg of the qualifiers for the CoD Championships. The final event is taking place this weekend in LA where two Australian teams are vying for a chunk of the $1 million prize pool. This wrap up video from our event shows those teams' qualifying path to LA.

VIM and its ACL brand were responsible for end to end management of the CoD ANZ Championships held in Sydney March 1st. Complete with 2 online rounds, a regional LAN qualifier prior to the Finals event - VIM successfully produced and captured the epic moments of competitive gaming on the Xbox One platform on the latest instalment of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Two teams won the lion's share of a $15,000 prize pool and will head to LA to battle the rest of the world and potentially take a stake of a $1,000,000 global prize offering.
