🏆 A FRIENDLY REMINDER – HOW DO THE AWA - AUSTRALIAN WEDDING AWARDS™ WORK? 🏆

We’ve had a few questions about the Australian Wedding Awards™, so here’s a quick reminder! ✨

🏆 Eligibility
Businesses become eligible by placing as a Winner, Highly Commended or Top 3 in their Regional Wedding Industry Awards Australia™.

The categories you participated in through the Wedding Industry Awards™ are the categories you are eligible to participate in for the Australian Wedding Awards™.

📝 Pre-Registration
Eligible businesses must first Pre-Register by purchasing a Business Audit. Pre-Registration is required per business name, not per category.

🎟️ Registration
Once Pre-Registered, businesses complete Registration by purchasing an Awards Presentation Ticket. Tickets are purchased per person attending and/or per eligible category.

📊 Business Audit
Your Business Audit reviews key areas of your business, including your website, social media presence, customer experience, functionality, presentation and overall business practices.

🚫 No additional voting
There is no additional couples’ voting at the Australian Wedding Awards™ level. Customer feedback and ratings have already been captured through the Wedding Industry Awards™.

📈 Following the Awards
Participating businesses receive a detailed SWOT Analysis, providing valuable insights into Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats to help support future business growth.

✨ The Australian Wedding Awards™ are about more than recognition — they provide businesses with valuable feedback, insights and opportunities for future growth.

Six years in a row!

We’re absolutely stoked to announce that The Times Duo has been named #1 – Best Live Entertainment for Gippsland & Phillip Island at the 2026 Wedding Industry Awards!

That makes it six consecutive years!

For two local musos from Cape Woolamai, this is pretty special. We’ve had the privilege of playing at so many amazing Phillip Island, Bass Coast and Gippsland weddings, parties and events, and there’s nothing better than seeing a dance floor packed and people having a bloody good time.
