In construction or manufacturing?
One dispute can cost you days, dollars and sleep.

If you work in construction or manufacturing, you already know how quickly a small argument can become a very big problem. That’s where having the right commercial lawyer changes everything.

Meet Christopher Price, founder of Price Pontifex Lawyers - a commercial litigator with 35 years of deep experience across construction disputes, contract issues, debt recovery, manufacturing matters and complex insurance claims.

Christopher didn’t take the typical path into law. He started with a degree in history, discovered a love for legal problem-solving, and built a career in Sydney firms acting on major disputes, high-stakes commercial matters and complex construction cases.

What sets him apart is how he works: calm, clear, structured, and always focused on the best outcome - not just the loudest fight.

His aim is for his clients to feel immediate relief when he steps in.

Recently, one architect facing a substantial unpaid invoice dispute handed it over to Christopher - and walked away with clarity, a negotiated outcome, and his head above water again.
That’s what expertise + composure delivers.

If you’re in construction, trades, architecture, engineering or manufacturing - and you want commercial disputes resolved quickly, calmly and properly - Christopher is someone you want in your corner.

January is a break - not an excuse to start late.

Too many business owners come back from holidays ready to go…
but without a plan.

And by the time they get clarity, it’s February - and momentum is already lost.

The smartest leaders I’m working with are carving out time now to:

🔹 step back from the day-to-day
🔹 decide what really matters in 2026
🔹 and protect January as genuine time off

Because growing a business isn’t about working harder.
It’s about focusing on the right things, in the right order.

That’s why I’m running a Business Growth Planning Workshop on 27 November in Lane Cove - a practical, hands-on session where we:

✔ Define your growth vision
✔ Identify your key priorities
✔ Build a simple one-page plan to create traction

If you want to start 2026 clear, confident and ahead - not catching up - comment below or message me and I’ll send you the details.

Only a few seats available.

Before you can grow, you need clarity.

Many business owners want growth - but aren’t sure where to start.

That’s why I’m running the Business Growth Planning Workshop – From Vision to Action.

Thursday 27 November (11 am – 1 pm)
at The Alcott, Lane Cove.

This practical, hands-on session will help you:

✅ Clarify your business vision for 2026 and beyond
✅ Identify your growth priorities
✅ Sequence what to do first - and what can wait
✅ Leave with a one-page growth plan that brings focus and direction

It’s two hours to work on your business, not just in it.
And you’ll walk away confident about what comes next.

If you’d like more details or the registration link, just message me - I’ll share it shortly.

Super excited about two workshops coming up!

The first one, in November, is all about helping growing businesses sharpen their vision, get clear on where they’re heading, and build a plan to scale.

The second, in December, will help business owners wrap up the year, reflect on what worked and what didn’t, and create a focused 90-day plan to kick off 2026 strong.

These sessions are hands-on, practical, and designed to help you step out of the day-to-day, get clear, and take action.

If you’d like me to share more details or save you a spot, just message me - I’d love to have you join us.

How are you?
Busy.

It’s the answer I hear most from business owners and leaders - but it’s not always a good sign.

“Busy” can mean things are humming… or it can mean you’re running flat-out and losing focus.

There’s good busy - purposeful, productive, moving you forward.
And bad busy - reactive, scattered, unsustainable.

When “busy” becomes the norm, clarity, well-being, and relationships start to take a hit.

So next time you say “I’m busy,” ask yourself:
Busy doing what?

If you’re stuck in constant busy and can’t see a way out, let’s have a chat.
Sometimes a fresh perspective helps you find space again.

📸 This photo sums it up- today’s BNI Golden Microphone moment, where “busy” hit a nerve for many of us.

P.S. I’ll be diving deeper into this topic on an upcoming podcast with Alesha Masaud - we’ll be unpacking the link between busyness, wellbeing, and leadership. Stay tuned.

We don’t lose time - we give it away.

This short story shares how I stopped reacting to everyone else’s priorities and started focusing on what really matters - at work and at home.

Your frame might be different. The principle’s the same:

Be intentional with your time, or someone else will be.

Last week’s Trusted Advisor Network conference in Queenstown was a reminder that real growth comes from what you do after an event.

Since coming back, I’ve been reviewing the workbook, following up on the commitments I made, reconnecting with key referral partners and clients, and shaping new ideas for my business.

One theme that really stood out was the importance of continuing to evolve - as a business, a coach, and as a person. As Stephen Covey put it, it’s about “sharpening the saw.”

It’s also what we help our clients do - to pause, reflect, and take meaningful action on what matters most before momentum fades.

Conferences are great for learning, but they matter most when we turn insight into action.

Most business owners start their business for freedom -more control over time, choice, and balance.

But somewhere along the way, time starts running the show.

There’s always one more client to help, one more message to reply to, one more thing you “just need to get done.”

Before long, the weeks blur together, and the freedom you built the business for starts to slip away.

That’s why I’m running another Time Audit Workshop next week - a practical reset to help business owners take back control of their time and focus.

In this 90-minute, hands-on session, you’ll:

✅ Create space to work on your business instead of getting pulled into daily busyness
✅ Identify where your time is being spent - and what’s really moving the business forward
✅ Evaluate the real value of your time and where it delivers the best return
✅ Build a default week that protects focus, energy, and freedom

You’ll walk away with a clear plan, not just ideas - and tools you can use straight away, no matter what industry you’re in.

Buying or selling a business? Here’s the lawyer you want in your corner.

Ever met someone who makes complex deals feel simple? That’s exactly what stood out when I sat down with Aditya Joseph (AJ) from AJR Lawyers.

With close to two decades of experience in commercial law and international M&A, AJ has helped clients buy, sell, and restructure businesses of all sizes. He’s calm under pressure, meticulous with detail, and focused on what matters most - protecting his clients while getting the deal done.

One story says it all: AJ once managed a business sale so professionally that the purchaser - impressed by his clarity, fairness, and skill - came back after settlement and asked him to act as their lawyer. That’s the kind of trust money can’t buy.

AJ combines deep expertise with plain-English communication, so clients always feel informed and confident. Trusted by business owners and professionals who value clarity, results, and genuine partnership - he’s exactly who you want in your corner.
