This vinyl ottoman had good bones but was stuck in the past with its outdated colour. One of our team members gave it a simple but stunning update using our Chalk-Tique Paint Additive.

Here’s how:
- Cleaned thoroughly with Howard Clean-A-Finish
- Mixed Chalk-Tique Paint Additive into a low-sheen black paint and applied three coats over three days
- Sealed the finish with Chalk-Tique Light Paste Wax for a soft, velvety feel

The result? A modern, refreshed piece—no reupholstering needed!

“RESTORATION PROJECT I found this lovely shabby wood coffee table at a vintage shed a few weekends ago. It’s seen better days and was probably left out on a deck, exposed to the elements for many years. The Mr and I thought it would be a great addition for and it’s my hobby to bring a lovely old piece of wood back to life with Howard Products Restore-a-Finish and our Wood Care Kit (available from ) Scroll through to see the results.
