Bras are like Jeans!
Every style, size and fit are completely different!
We don’t all go out and buy the same Jeans. So please don’t be tempted in buying a bra online, from the TV, Facebook adds etc, and expect it to fit.
It may have the softest lace, great design features, a celebrity name to it. It doesn’t mean a thing, unless you know your breast shape, the spacing, then the bra style that suits YOUR breasts. Only then you’ll be able to look at a bra and say YES, that’s me, I’ll give it a try!
It saves a lot of time and money, and you’ll look and feel great!

My first Bra Dilemma for you, for 2021!
If you are after a bra extension, take the bra with you, that you intend on attaching it to. Just knowing, that you’ll only need a 2 hook extension, for your 2 hook bra isn’t enough, as you can see in the photo.
This Bra Extension, is on 2 different bras.
Bra Extension purchased from Target .

Well, this is a first for me, 😱 I’ve NEVER bought any lingerie online EVER, but due to Covid times, I’m not spending a lot of time at the shops, and lets face it, bra shopping takes time.
I measured myself (this is only a base line). Having bought Triumph bras before, and knowing my size at the moment, I can then choose the style of bra that suits my shape, size, spacing and placement of my breasts on my chest.
My choices are Balcony or (balconette), plunge or Demi bras. These bras also have shorter underwires, and being petite, full cupped bra wires, poke me in the armpit as they are too long for me.
I have lower fullness breasts, that are a little East and West, wide in the centre, and sit low on my chest.
Knowing this I can safely choose the lovely Triumph Sheer Balconette bra!
It ticks all my boxes, in features I need and I’m looking for!
For successful bra shopping, you have to know your breasts so you choose the correct style. It’s not all about the size, but the bra style as well, to get the best and most comfortable fit!
Scroll to see the other 4 features I look for in a bra, for my shape, and why!

Part 3 of 4!
The more seams the better, in this case, 2!
Seams in the cups, give added support, a rounded shape and strength to the cups.
The vertical seam, gives maximum support and uplift.
The angled seam, gives support, lift and helps to centre the breasts.

Part 4 of 4!As I have a 2 finger width gap, between my breasts. I can comfortably wear a wide centre panel.

I always look for straps that are fully adjustable. By that I mean, being able to adjust it, from the band at the back, all the way through to the cups!

This silicone breast prosthesis, was kindly donated to me, for educational purposes. Unfortunately, it's way past its use by date, even for my use. With Medicares reimbursement programme, you can purchase a new prosthesis every 2 years. So there is no need to wear, or hang onto a prosthesis, that has split, cracked, or oozing silicone! Please don't tape or pin them together either, replace it!
