Anthropic's revenue passed US$11.5 billion for the June quarter, up from US$787 million in the same quarter last year (according to Bloomberg). The company also posted positive adjusted operating income, its first profitable quarter on that measure.

OpenAI, by comparison, is not expected to reach profitability until about 2030 as it spends heavily on compute.
