Emu Logic We are a family run emu farm at the base of the Warrumbungle mountains. The shop will be open everyday through the School Holidays.

Emu logic is part of the mixed grazing property of the Henley family on the edge of the Warrumbungle national park 20km north of Tooraweenah on the national park road. Our farm shop with local and Emu Logic products as well as a display about local farming is open until the end of October Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. If you would like to meet the emus face to face on a tour you must conta

ct us ahead of your visit. We run the tours at 11am and 2pm, other times may be able to be organised for groups. We are a working farm with lots of other poultry and animals, some are around the shed for people to meet but we are not a petting farm.

The ground is certainly wet and muddy and it makes collecting and cleaning the eggs a bit more of a chore.

Emu logic had a spikey visitor with a unusually friendy young echidna wandering around our farm shop today. So much so it came up to Thea to check her out.

We have put some emu eggs out in the breeder emu paddock so visitors on our farm tours can see a dad emu sitting on eggs. We will pick them up just before they are due to hatch and put them with the others in the incubator. If left to hatch in the paddock the females will stomp on them to kill them.

Teenage girl emus like their own space so when I took down some lawn clippings to the emus and most the mob came together we had some fights.

70mm of rain all up for the last 4 days so far but still no run off into the dams on the rest of the farm were the sheep and cattle are. Lets hope for good rain for the rest of the year for inland nsw.

Emu Logic first emu eggs for the season due to hatch around the start of the july holidays. Come do a tour and get to cuddle an emu chick and feed its parents.

We have found a few eggs, lets hope there is rain next week so the birds can really start laying and we get grass growing for all the other animals we have on farm.
