Tracy Sheen - The Digital Guide

Tracy Sheen - The Digital Guide AI speaker, two-time award-winning author and business advisor helping Australian organisations adopt practical AI in plain language. Hi, I'm Tracy Sheen. CSP.

Keynotes, workshops and consulting for building a human-led, AI-leveraged workforce. Aka The Digital Guide. Speaker. Author. Two-time award winning author. I work with business owners, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and regional communities to make AI less scary and a lot more practical. No jargon. No fluff. No "future of work" theatre. Just plain language and Monday morning useful. Over the past

few years I've delivered thousands of keynotes, workshops and webinars across Australia. Sometimes from a stage, sometimes from the caravan in the middle of nowhere with Pete and the fur kids nearby. Same message either way. Humans lead. AI does the rest. Looking for a speaker who lands the message and gets a few laughs along the way? Want AI explained in a way your team will actually use on Monday? After practical training that sticks past the workshop? Drop me a note: [email protected]

My latest book "AI & U: Reimagine Business" is available now. Or just stick around for the practical bits, and life on the road life. Human led. AI leveraged. The Augmented Workforce.

I’m in Sydney this week and Pete is getting the van and kids to Toowoomba for me to meet him on the weekend.

This was the video update he sent me this evening.

Since going full time on the road 12 months ago Pete and I have been trying different ways to track stays.

Not just where we’ve been, but a history of what we enjoyed and where we’d go back to

Finally… we’ve landed on something we’re happy with.

Still a long way to go and finding stuff to continually iterate… but happy with how it’s landing.

Ps: yes, we’re big Terry Pratchett fans

Want to shortcut the hard bits in business? Find someone who's already done what you want to do. Then work with them.

That's the whole lesson. Not glamorous. Just true.

I'd known Andrew Griffiths for years before I ever wrote a word. He was my coach, and for most of those years he was bugging me to write a book. Nagging, some might say. Lovingly.

So I blame him entirely.

My first book, The End of Technophobia, did everything a business book should do. Solved a real problem. Gave me authority I didn't have before. Opened doors to media I'd never have got near. Book of the Year, no less. And commercially I still got it wrong. I wrote the book without building anything to sit behind it.

Lesson learnt. Expensively.

So AI & U: Reimagine Business was built differently. Framework first. One that could become a keynote, a workshop, a consulting program, a masterclass and a body of content that keeps working long after launch. Same author. Very different job for the book.

Two books later Andrew's a mate, which is the bit I'm most chuffed about. And he still asks the hard questions.

We sat down for his podcast, The Business of Being an Author with Andrew Griffiths, and pulled the whole thing apart. What worked. What didn't. How the media strategy shifted. Why credibility matters more than ever in an industry that changes weekly. And how I'm thinking about the next books as part of something bigger than one title on a shelf.

If you've written a book, or you're circling one, this one's for you.

Thanks Andrew. For the nagging, the straight talk and the friendship xx

A very BIG shoutout to the team at Outlook Eye Centre in Toowoomba.

Pete and I purchased Gen 1 Meta glasses a while back and for whatever reason my decided to s**t themselves.

A quick call to Andrew and voila brand new Gen 2 frames sorted.

This is why I will always support locally owned business where I can. They naturally go above and beyond.

Looking for cool frames?
Look to Outlook Eye Centre.

10/10

Thanks again team! Superb effort x

Pete and I celebrate two anniversaries each year… our wedding in Feb and our “real” one in August.

We’re rarely together for our August anniversary so I convinced him to come hang out for a couple of days in Sydney this week.

I even kept the laptop closed the entire time!

18 years together and still learning about him and from him everyday ❤️

Wonderful to catch up with my good friend Gill today for a quick bite. She graciously delivered my Women Chiefs of Enterprises International (Australia) award for Digital Innovation.

Looking pretty chuffed with myself if I do say so

Last night I had the extreme honour of receiving the Digital & Technology Innovator Award from Women Chiefs of Enterprises International (Australia)

And although I wasn’t there in person to accept, my amazing community shared this video of the announcement with me

Another week of AI guardrails and practical training.

This week, Brisbane.

Starting in Ipswich with a dedicated Microsoft CoPilot day for a State Gov Department. Personalising and building agents, talking governance and the importance of data security.

Then into the city to work with the dedicated team from Ringrose Button Chartered Accountants - some flew in from Longreach, others from Mount Tambourine and North Brisbane

Big day, lots of guardrail chats and practical hands on Claude work.

Heading to Melbourne today, tired and happy … and super proud that I get to work and guide such forward thinking and curious businesses.

For the second year running the ANZ Doyenne program invited me back to run the AI segment for their mortgage broker education day.

This year’s theme was superheroes. Jane runs the strengths exercise, the room builds their own Strengths Super Hero, then I come in with the AI layer.

Corporate rooms and capes. Never thought I’d type that sentence.

Thanks ANZ for backing your brokers to actually embrace AI, not just talk about it. That’s a corporate walking the talk.

Thanks also to Jane for creating content that sticks with the brokers long after the day ends.

Ada, my AI assistant, worked alongside me shaping this one too. Human-led, AI-leveraged, cape optional.
