Toddler mums I see you! 👀

Are you tired of being up before the sun ☀️? I know I sure have been!

Recently we went through an early rising phase (some days we still are), and after ruling out all possible causes I moved onto a training clock.

While it took a while, it has helped ALOT and she completely understands blue means sleep 😴 and yellow it’s ok to wake 🆙.

If you’re pulling your hair out with early rising and tired of living on coffee, consider all the possible causes of early rising and whether or not your toddler would understand a training clock.

Still having trouble? Book in for a 1:1 consult. I’ve supported thousands of families with their sleep 😴 💗.

Aggghhhh I officially hate the cold and flu season 🤧.

Last week poor Isaac had pneumonia, and over the weekend Lyla came down with a bug and has been having high temperatures and a sore throat. She’s been so miserable.

Surely I’m not the only one with sick little ones? And surely I’m not the only mum worrying about sleep while they’re sick!

What are your top tips for getting through the cold and flu season? Share them below! ⬇️. Maybe it’s a recipe for chicken soup, or a handy gadget to help with their congestion.

I often have families reach out for support or just general advice, and one question I’ll ask is about their routine.

Often the reply is “their routines been the same for xyz amount of time”

This is perfectly fine, but often, especially in those younger ages, their routines change or there comes a time where their routine needs to change to balance their sleep.

If your little one is suddenly experiencing changes to their sleep, have a look at if their routine could need tweaking. It could just be the answer you need.

There’s SOOOO much noise out there surrounding baby and toddler sleep.

Parents often come to me asking if their baby is sleeping normally. This is so hard to answer as their sleep can be so different and still be considered ‘normal.’

What are you currently struggling with and wondering jf it's normal? comment below to see what thinks 💗.

Can you relate? 🆘

This is my life currently too! 🫠😬

Lyla loves to tell me she’s tired, I get her into bed, then the “I’m hungry” begins. It’s so difficult because she doesn’t eat much/have many safe foods so often it is genuine hunger.

If you feel it’s not quite genuine, hold your boundary. If you say one book, only read one book.

I know it’s easier said than done, so you can 100% do this gradually to avoid bedtime dragging out even longer.

What stalling tactics does your toddler pull at bedtime? Comment below 👇🏻 I’d love to hear how creative they are 😂

🤫 Who can relate?

This ALWAYS happened to me. You’d say they’re sleeping through the night or stopped waking early, then BAM. It stops.

It’s like they’re psychic little beings who just know 😂.

Hands up if you’ve ever wondered this 🙋🏻‍♀️.

As Mums we are so quick to blame ourselves when things go wrong, but I can promise you, your baby’s sleep is not a reflection of you 💗.

There are so many reasons that babies have sleep difficulties, but being attached and loved by their family is not one of them.

Next time you think this, read this post (because you’ll save it 😂) and know that it is not you.

Tag another Mum who may need to hear this 💗.

Tonight is the night we say goodbye 👋 to the dummy! 😱

One common question I get is how do you get rid of the dummy.

For me, cold turkey. We’ve left ours out for Easter bunny 🐰, but others may leave them for Santa or be too young to grasp the concept.

When ditching the dummy it’s important to be mindful of a few things. Age being a big one. Between 6 months and 2.5 years old they have a strong attachment and most won’t understand where it has gone and why. This is why it’s best to keep the dummy between these ages and get rid of it before or after.

Does your little one have a dummy? How did you get rid of it, or how do you plan on getting rid of it?

Did you know this?

Our bodies are amazing, right? 🥰🧚

Try this if you’re a pumping mummy and having some night wakes. It may help with your little one’s circadian rhythm and be the answer that you need.

This may not be the answer for everyone though, if you ever need support, please don’t hesitate to DM 💗.
