𝙃𝙞 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚, 𝙈𝙚𝙡 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣. 𝙄 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠!

A lot of people avoid incident investigations because they think they’re about blame or getting someone in trouble.

𝘼 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨. It’s about understanding what went wrong and putting simple controls in place so it doesn’t happen again.

When something goes wrong on the farm, the instinct is often to clean up and keep moving – but the first 24 hours after an incident really matter.

𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙮, 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧!

After introducing myself earlier in the week, 𝙄 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙄’𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙗𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝, as it’s not always clear from the outside.

I work alongside ag businesses on things like setting up WHS systems, reviewing or improving existing safety processes, helping with incident investigations, and supporting QA and environmental requirements.

Most of the people I work with are family-run farms or small teams who want to do the right thing but don’t want unnecessary paperwork or complicated systems that don’t get used.

I wanted to introduce myself as I’ll be popping in here from time to time to share some simple, practical safety and compliance tips.

I’m based in Trangie and run KISS Ag Consulting. 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙜 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 to make WHS, QA and environmental systems simpler and more workable. KISS stands for '𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙄𝙩 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚, 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙮' 🌾.
It’s not just a motto - it’s how I work.
