🪞 Holding Up the Mirror is the Hardest (and Most Powerful) Thing You Can Do❗️

🫵 It’s easy to point fingers. To blame the economy, the competition, the employees, the boss, the partner, the circumstances.

It’s easy to say, "If only they did this…" or "If only things were different…"

But what happens when we stop looking outward and start looking inward❓

🪞When we hold up the mirror and truly reflect on our own actions, choices, and behaviours, the game changes. Not in a small way, but in a profound, life-altering way.✨

I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that real growth, whether in business or in life starts with self-awareness.

The moment we take radical accountability for how we show up, how we react, and how we contribute to our own challenges, that’s when we regain control. That’s when we stop being victims of our circumstances and start becoming architects of our future.

🤔 In business – Are you frustrated with a lack of results? Is it truly the market, or are there things in your strategy, leadership, or ex*****on that need adjusting❓

🤔 In relationships – Are you feeling unheard or undervalued? Have you communicated clearly, or are you assuming others should just know❓

🥳 2025: A New Chapter, built on the Lessons of 2024.✨

🙌 As we get ready to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome in 2025, I just want to take a moment to reflect with you all.

This past year has probably thrown its fair share of curveballs at you. Maybe you’ve had wins you’re proud of, or maybe there have been times you felt like you were just holding it all together. 🤷‍♀️ Either way, you made it through, and that’s something to celebrate. 🙌 👏👏

For me, 2024 has been full of lessons - some hard😓, some rewarding😁. What I have learnt is that every mistake, every challenge, every "I wish I’d done that differently" moment has been a chance to grow. 🌱

The beauty of stepping into a new year isn’t about resolutions or overnight transformations, it’s about showing up every day and trying to do a little better, knowing you’ve got everything you need to keep growing.🚀

2025 is a fresh page. 📄

It’s an opportunity to approach things differently, to focus on what really matters, and to appreciate the little moments that make life meaningful. 🥰

So as we get ready to celebrate and welcome in the New Year, let’s be grateful 🙏 not just for the highlights of the past year but for the lessons, the 👫👭 people who supported us, and even the challenges that taught us something new.✨

👫The Real Gift of Christmas❤️👫

🤷‍♀️ With Christmas just around the corner, it’s so easy to get caught up in the madness, isn’t it? The shopping, the wrapping, making sure everything looks just right. I’ve definitely been guilty of that - worrying if the presents are good enough, if the food will impress, or if the house feels “Christmassy” enough.🎄

🎁 Christmas isn’t about the gifts we give or receive. It’s not about how perfect the tree looks or whether the pudding turns out exactly right (although a good pudding is always a win). 🥮

It’s about the people. The laughter, the stories, the quiet moments, and the love that fills the room when we’re surrounded by those who mean the most to us.🥰

Some of my favourite Christmas memories aren’t about the gifts at all, they’re about the people around the table, the little moments of connection, and the feeling of togetherness that money simply can’t buy.❤️

So, as you prepare for Christmas, I encourage you to take a moment to:

😮‍💨Breathe.

👀 Look around.

Focus on the people, the conversations, and the joy in the little things.

🚀 2024 - My year of Growth, Gratitude, and Going after the Great!⭐️

🎄 As we head into the Christmas and holiday season, I find myself reflecting on an incredible year filled with growth, new experiences, and so many lessons.

This year, I stepped out of my comfort zone in ways I never thought possible.

I co-authored my first book, Unstoppable Volume 3, which became an Amazon Best Seller (still pinching myself!). I MC’d an event with over 20,000 people - talk about nerves and excitement! I was nominated a Finalist in the WSABE Awards for Excellence! 🤗

I was invited to be a contributing feature writer for an industry magazine, sharing my thoughts and strategies on business and leadership.

I’ve also had the privilege of meeting some truly wonderful people and attending some amazing events. The connections and experiences have made this year even more meaningful, and I’m so grateful for each one of them.🙏

One of the highlights, was also launching The Positive Leaders Training Company with my amazing Co-founder and Business partner, Paris Cutler. 🙌To see our Empowered Leadership Training workshops, sell out weeks in advance and receive such positive feedback was such a proud moment for us. 👏👏👏

However, more than the achievements, this year has taught me something so powerful - having the courage to step into the unknown can open up opportunities you’d never even imagine.✨

It hasn’t always been easy, but every step outside my comfort zone has been worth it. A few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed I’d be where I am today. It just goes to show that when you take a chance on yourself and trust the process, incredible things happen and life has a way of rewarding you.⭐️

I’m beyond excited for 2025 and all the opportunities that await. Every day is a blessing and a chance to grow, learn, and show up better than yesterday.

After all, we are the CEOs of our own lives. We get to choose how we live, the risks we take, and the life we create. I’m here to live my best life both personally and professionally.

Leading with Heart 🧡- The Power of Genuine Connection.

Let me share something I’ve learned during the 30 years of my career - the heart of any successful business lies in its people. The key to unlocking their potential is genuine connection.🔗

It’s easy to get caught up in targets, deadlines, and the day-to-day grind. I’ve been there - so focused on the work that I missed the simple but powerful act of connecting with my team.

Although, when I started taking the time to check in, to ask “How are you really doing?” and to show I valued them beyond their output, everything shifted.

Morale improved, trust grew, and the team felt more engaged and committed. It’s not rocket science, but it is intentional.

Here’s the thing - when employees feel seen and supported, they give their best. That’s when businesses thrive.🚀

If you’re serious about growth, connection isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s essential. It’s the foundation for trust, communication, and a culture where people can excel.⭐️

So, my advice is to start small. A simple conversation, a genuine thank-you, or even just listening can make all the difference.

❤️ Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it. ☕️

I heard this analogy recently, and it really stuck with me, so I wanted to share it with you.

🤔 Imagine you’re holding a cup of coffee. Someone bumps into you, and the coffee spills everywhere.

🗣️ Why did you spill the coffee?

Most of us would say, “Because someone bumped into me!”

❌ But that’s not the real answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. If it had been tea, you would have spilled tea.

The truth is, what’s inside your cup is what spills out when life shakes you - and let’s be real, life will shake us.🫨

It’s easy to hold it together when things are smooth and going well, but when we’re bumped, rattled, or pushed, what’s inside us comes pouring out.

👉 So here’s the question we all need to ask: What’s in my cup❓

When life gets tough, do we spill over with joy, gratitude, peace, and resilience? 💗

Or do we find anger, frustration, or bitterness rising to the surface?🤯

The cup is life, and while we don’t always control the bumps, we do control how we fill it.

✨ So, let’s be intentional about filling our cups with positivity, kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, and love 🥰 - so when life shakes us, that’s what spills out.

🤷‍♀️ Embrace Change or Stay the Same - the Choice is Yours?💥

When I first heard this - 'what you don’t change, you choose', it hit home in a big way. The power of this statement is undeniable.

🤔 Think about it...every time we see something in our lives or businesses that isn’t quite right, we’re faced with a choice.

1. We can address it and create real change, or
2. We can let it linger, hoping things magically get better.

By not acting, we’re actually making a choice to keep things just as they are.

It’s easy to put off change. Maybe it’s a workflow that’s slowing down progress, a team dynamic that isn’t quite there, or even a habit we know is holding us back.

Change takes effort, and often it feels daunting. However, the real growth, the real breakthroughs, come from the choice to face these things head-on.🙈

This truth has stayed with me, and it’s changed how I look at both work and life. If I’m not willing to change something, I’m choosing to accept it, and that choice defines my path.

Remember, If you change nothing, nothing will change.
