Diesel Help Australia Diesel Help Australia provides technicians with an understanding of what you’re diagnosing and why.

Diesel Help Australia is a phone support business dedicated to helping the automotive industry diagnose diesels from the latest electronic common rail to early non-electronic systems. Diesel Help Australia are your partners when it comes to ensuring your customer’s diesel can be diagnosed and fixed efficiently as possible – even when other workshops may have given up and passed on the problem. With an increased presence of common rail diesel, it’s only natural that we are seeing an increase in faults. Even when there are no fault codes, Diesel Help Australia’s experienced voices will guide you through a proven process to arrive at the problem and a solution.

Absolutely love the support we receive from AASDN Western Australia. We're grateful for the opportunity to deliver yearly diesel training for the Western Australia branch. Make sure you keep this bi-annual Perth Automotive Training Event (PATE) on your agenda next time around.
Big thank you to the lovely Trish from La belle Royale for your awesome filmography of the event

Are you working on trucks? Hundreds of truck mechanics attend this event every year. I attended my first TMC last year and I was impressed to see contributions from the OEM's.

🤔 Take the guesswork out with Clinton Brett, founder of Diesel Help Australia.

Learn about Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) operation and three vital diagnostics and testing strategies that could reduce unnecessary component replacement and save thousands of dollars in downtime.

These strategies are proven to reduce misinterpretation and misdiagnosis of turbo and air intake systems.

VGT systems vary between manufacturers. In this session, you’ll find out what you’ll need to know about the design, function and operation of each system to begin your diagnostics pathway.

With such a large variety of engine, fuel, air, turbo and aftertreatment-system manufacturers in Australian trucking these days, I can see how easily the message can get lost in translation without prior knowledge of each individual system.
It’s a different situation for me. I want to keep our business at the top of the game and with more than 300 Diesel Help members seeking assistance, I am constantly researching well outside our typical workshop data providers.
It’s easier to determine systems in a car but trucks especially have so many varieties in the showroom. If you’re purchasing a fleet of agitators or highway transport or are in local supermarket-chain delivery or grain cartage, the configurations are mind boggling.
This is why you will always struggle to access 100 per cent correct wiring diagrams. Often a truck is released with single drive yet it arrives in our country with dual steer, dual axle and an extended tray fitted with a particular suspension brand different from the OE release.
In this case study, we not only have inconsistent workshop manuals but aftermarket scan tools providing conflicting fault-code information. I created this article to highlight exhaust-mounted injectors, the difference between an exhaust-mounted diesel injector and AdBlue exhaust-mounted doser and how a simple fuel-system reset can correct faults.

A fun and informative weekend at the VASA & The Automotive Technician Wire and Gas convention.
I gained some interesting facts about electrified vehicles which includes EV, Hybrid, plug in hybrid and mild hybrid.
BTW I love all of the above. They will add to a large list of work for my colleagues and diesel will remain one of these.

⚠️Servicing 🛠️ and Risks ⚡🔥
⚠️ Your car does require checks, inspection and replacement part's especially fluids. They also require correct methods of plug-in.

As responsible vehicle owners, your vehicle must be inspected every 10,000kms/12 months. It must be lifted on a hoist for correct thorough inspection.
Fire 🔥 risk.
It's mostly how you charge the vehicle. Ensure the power point is in good condition and not exposed to moisture. Don't use non approved extension leads.
Don't use power boards or double adaptors. They cannot handle the high amperage over extended periods.
But also ensuring your coolant and AC system is working correctly to cool the extremely hot batteries.
Refer to some of the images.
PS important information about AC gas being phased out as it is damaging the environment.
