Feel so blessed to be able to donate $529 last week to the Ronald McDonald Newcastle house and room and also gave out free coffees to the community at .

Ronald McDonald room is a place that we used numerous times with both of my children and also for my nephew in the past so I know first hand what they do is beyond incredible and amazing. It needs ongoing support from our community to continue to provide this valuable service to support families through challenging times and this is something we want to continue to do in the future.

Life update follow up -

I'm now one week post-op from my spinal surgery, and to be completely honest, recovery has started a lot harder than we anticipated. The intense pain has been constant, 24/7, and it's been a huge adjustment not only for me but for our whole family.

Through it all, Luke has been absolutely amazing, continuing to keep our projects moving and looking after our customers while I slowly try to get back into the admin side of the business and keep things ticking along behind the scenes.

As many of you know, life has lots of speed bumps and in just 7 weeks, our son will be undergoing bone graft surgery to have a bone tumour removed from his leg. We're hopeful for a positive outcome and will be right beside him as he begins his own recovery journey.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with messages, phone calls, and check-ins. It really means so much to know people are thinking of us during this challenging time.

While we have a lot happening in the background, your ongoing support, recommendations, and referrals mean more to us now than ever.

A little personal update from us.....

As many of you know, behind Impressive Floors it's just Luke and myself working hard to keep everything running smoothly. In two weeks' time I'll be undergoing spinal fusion surgery, which means I have a big recovery coming.

Over the next 2 weeks I'll be busy following up enquiries, finalising quotes, organising orders and locking in installation schedules so that everything is as organised as possible before I head into hospital. I'm also trying to make life a little easier for Luke, who will be carrying the business on his shoulders for a while, whilst also looking after me, our children and our household running.

If you've been thinking about booking a measure and quote, I'd recommend getting in touch and booking a time in for the next two weeks. Once I'm off for surgery, our next available quote appointments won't be until the latter part of June.

Likewise, if you have received a quote from us and are ready to proceed, please reach out as soon as possible so I can help organise your order, secure stock and schedule your installation before I go in.

Just a few reminders when booking quotes & installs.

If you’re working on a fast timeline, please let us know when arranging your quote. This helps us be upfront about whether we can fit you in — we’d always rather be honest than disappoint later.
When it comes to flooring, there are a few steps involved:
• Booking and completing your quote
• Choosing your flooring (sometimes a couple of visits and taking samples home)
• Checking stock availability and lead times
• Aligning everything with our next install dates

It’s not always an instant process, but we’ll always guide you through it as smoothly as possible ✨

Install dates are only secured once a deposit is paid.
We’re unable to hold dates without a deposit due to high demand.
