Making a Move Envisage. Commit. Train. See it through. We help you to realise your sport/health dream - together,

Making a Move designs holistic and achievable health and fitness programs for specific audiences. Each program is carefully developed through a process of consultation and an initial survey of the needs of both individuals and groups involved in the project. Establishing relationships of trust and mutual respect and operating with clear channels of communication, are key to being able to identify

and set realistic goals. Our ultimate aim is to empower individuals to achieve a health and fitness goal that may have been previously out of reach. Each program delivers a balanced mix of cardio, strength & stability training and mind/body workouts at mutually agreed venues with professional and highly experienced fitness/sport instructors. We also offer services in Workplace Wellness and consultation and support for team events.

Hi 12-CHALLENGE supporter team,

I just wanted to take the opportunity to briefly reflect on the latest BeyondBlue fundraiser project during my home quarantine time in Tasmania from Nov3-16 2021:

- Officially announcing a (crazy) idea and having people ‘investing’ into your project are very powerful (and helpful!) tools and key for success to actually see the project through - especially when things gets tougher after the initial excitement starts to fade off - as you are not only accountable to all your fundraisers to keep your end of the bargain, but it is also your word & credibility that is on the line… 😄

- Sitting on a stationary bike for 2-3 hours non-stop is SO MUCH EASIER and actually still quite enjoyable if you have SOMEONE RIDING WITH YOU! Hence, the 2h morning sessions and 3h weekend sessions were challenging, but nothing worth mentioning in comparison to the afternoon 2h time slots, where I found myself most of the time cycling by myself and really fighting the big mental/motivation battles. Also, getting the training sessions ‘done&dusted’ first thing in the morning turned out to be much easier (mentally) than having to go back into the saddle in the afternoon.

- Signing myself up to this 3-4h training program has definitely resulted in keeping me very busy throughout the 14-day home-quarantine period. The days were pretty much flying by, with ca. 8h of each day (!) getting used up for training prep, actual training time, showering, cooking & eating - and the ‘bath tub hand washing ordeal’ I went through 3x as I was going through so much training gear within the 12 days (and the laundry machine only got delivered AFTER the quarantine period finished!). And it was the PERFECT response to tackle the couple/few extra lockdown kilos and get back to my normal shape/ ‘fighting weight’ again - despite eating like a horse... 😄

- I could have not asked for a BETTER SUPPORT TEAM than you guys! You might not be aware how much positive energy, encouragement and mental support you’ve been offering me throughout this 12-DAY/44h training challenge - in the form of actively joining me for training sessions, taking time to call/message/check-in during sessions to take my mind off the clock and help time passing by faster, and by helping me to achieve the fundraiser goal of $2000 for BeyondBlue!🙏🤩

What I am trying to say here is THANK YOU for your awesome support of my (crazy) fundraiser/health projects and your loyalty!😍

I am already looking forward to another fundraiser challenge project with you and will certainly keep you in the loop once I’ve figured out what the next challenge will be!💪👍🤩

Cheers, and a big MAHALO!
Dani
