Safe work starts before site.

Before one of our technicians arrives on site, there’s already a team behind the scenes helping set the job up safely.

This October, as part of National Safe Work Month, we’re shining a light on our Scheduling team and the important role they play in safe work every day.

From coordinating the right trades and confirming access and inductions, to checking job information, site requirements and making sure our technicians have what they need before heading out, good planning matters.

Safety isn’t only what happens when the tools come out. It starts with the people, communication and planning behind every job.

More Than a Make Good | Cabinet Making

Sometimes the smartest property solution is built to fit.

Clever storage. Tricky spaces. Better functionality. Or a completely new look and feel.

Our in house cabinet making capability delivers everything from bespoke upgrades to full fitouts, including reception areas, office make goods, staff rooms and even clever kitchenettes.

And when the job needs more than cabinetry, we bring in the rest of the team. Carpentry, electrical, painting, ceilings and walls and general building works, all coordinated through Trayd.

One scope. Multiple trades. One team getting it done.

Because a make good shouldn’t just restore a space. Sometimes it’s the perfect opportunity to make it work better.

One Team. Every Trade.

More Than a Make Good | Ceilings & Walls

Sometimes you don’t know what’s required until you peel back the layers.

A simple ceiling or wall repair can quickly reveal a bigger job. That’s where having one team makes a difference.

From strip out and repairs through to rebuilding, setting, sanding, electrical, carpentry and that fresh coat of paint to finish the job, our in house Trayd trades can take care of the lot. From start to finish.

No chasing multiple contractors. No handing the problem back to the client.

One scope. Multiple trades. One team getting it done.

This is what One Team. Every Trade. looks like. 🛠️

Sometimes the best learning happens side by side.

Today, two of our Carpenters spent the day in the Trayd workshop, working on their own client shelving solution while helping our Master Cabinet Maker pull together a large kitchen fit out.

Different trades, different experience, and the perfect opportunity to share knowledge and pick up a few new skills along the way.

That’s one of the great things about having seven trades in-house. Our crew work alongside each other, learn from each other and get a better understanding of how every trade comes together to deliver the whole job seamlessly for clients.

Skills worth sharing. A team worth joining.

More Than a Make Good | Accessible Toilet Fitout ✅

One space. Plenty of trades. One Trayd team getting it done.

Our client wanted to bring accessible toilet facilities to the ground floor of their building, and this fit out shows the advantage of having One Team. Every Trade.

Demolition, framing, walls and ceilings, electrical, tiling, doors, fixtures and fittings, painting and final finishes. Every stage planned, coordinated and delivered by the Trayd team.

All while carefully managing access and disruption within a live environment.

One team. Start to finish. And quite the transformation.

More Than a Make Good | Painting

Sometimes a fresh coat of paint can change more than just the walls.

At Trayd, our in house painters support everything from commercial make goods and maintenance painting through to full office, school and facility refreshes.

Our team is experienced in offices, schools, healthcare facilities, retirement communities and other live commercial environments, where getting the job done means working around the people who use the space. Coordinating access, staging works, keeping work areas clean and safe and minimising disruption are all part of the job.

And when a refresh needs more than paint, our other in house trades can step in too. Carpentry repairs, ceilings and walls, electrical works, cabinetry and general maintenance can all be coordinated through one team.

One scope. Multiple trades. One team taking ownership from preparation through to the final coat.

That’s the advantage of One Team. Every Trade.

Restoring where Rotto memories are made. Not a bad day on the tools.

There’s something pretty special about getting to spend a few days on one of WA’s most iconic island destinations.

A few of our Trayd carpenters and painters swapped the mainland for Rottnest Island, Western Australia recently, helping restore some of the island’s well-known accommodation. Existing buildings call for care, problem solving and quality craftsmanship, with plenty of character to navigate along the way.

It’s also a great snapshot of the variety of jobs we deliver across Trayd .

One week our teams might be carrying out maintenance in a busy commercial facility, the next completing a refurbishment, make good or project, and every now and then, the tools get packed for Rotto.

Different jobs. Different places. All part of the variety at Trayd.

One Team. Every Trade.

Sometimes the most important conversation isn’t about the job.💛

Today is R U OK? Day, a reminder to check in with the people around us, not just today, but any day.

In our industry, we’re pretty good at talking about the job in front of us. What needs doing. The next task. The problem to solve.

Sometimes, we’re not quite as good at talking about what’s going on behind the scenes.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Simply noticing, asking “R U OK?”, genuinely listening and checking in again can make a real difference.

So today, if a workmate, friend, family member or someone around you seems a little different, trust your gut and start the conversation.

Looking out for each other is part of being a team.

Ask R U OK? Any Day.💛
