Big news for us — the new Wagga Security Solutions website is officially live!

It's been a while in the making and I'm pretty proud of how it's turned out. I started out in security at the CSU Crow Bar back in 1998, and after more than 25 years working pubs, clubs, sporting events and community events around the Riverina, I set up WSS in 2024 to give local venues and organisers a security company that's actually local, with clear communication, reliable staff, and people who know what's expected of them on the job.

The new site covers everything we do: licensed venue security, crowd control, event security, static guarding, asset protection and cash-in-transit. You can also send us an enquiry straight from the site. Just tell us what you've got coming up and we'll get back to you about staffing, availability and pricing.

We cover Wagga Wagga, Junee, Holbrook and the surrounding Riverina.

Have a look: waggasecuritysolutions.com.au

A big thanks to Jess at Storytold Studio for building it, and Matt at .au and to the venues and events who've backed us so far: Tilly's, Romano's Hotel, Wagga RSL, Sporties Hotel, the Wagga Rodeo, Junee Poker Run and Wagga Speedway. Couldn't do it without you.

And if you're a licensed security officer looking for work in the region, there's a jobs page on there too, so come and say g'day.

How was your Saturday night ?

A big thank you to the team behind Wagga Wagga Takes 2 for having Wagga Security Solutions on board again in 2026.

It's a ripper of a night. The performers put in months of work leading up to it, the crowd's right behind them, and every dollar goes back into the community. Our crew genuinely loves working this one, because it's a night where everyone's there for the right reasons.

Congratulations to everyone who got up on stage on a massive effort, and to the organisers and volunteers who pull it all together year after year. And well done on the money raised for the WWBH Maternity Unit and The Leisure Company, two causes that make a real difference here in Wagga.

Thanks again for trusting us to look after everyone on the night. We're already looking forward to next year.
