🌾 Applications Now Open – SA Drought Loan Scheme 🌾

RDA Murraylands & Riverland is encouraging eligible local farmers to take advantage of the South Australian Drought Loan Scheme, now open to support drought-affected grain and livestock producers across the Murray Mallee, Riverland, and Upper North.

💰 What’s available:
• Low-interest loans up to $250,000
• Loan terms of up to 10 years
• No repayments required for the first 2 years
• Concessional interest rates to support recovery

These loans are designed to provide urgent working capital support to help primary producers navigate current conditions and plan ahead.

📅 Applications close: 31 December 2026

The scheme is delivered by the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA), in partnership with the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA), on behalf of the South Australian Government.
