Excited to see this update come through from Transport for NSW😀

Reopening of the Oxley Highway at Mount Seaview from 18 December 2025 (4:30pm)

Transport for NSW (Transport) is pleased to inform that the weekly road closures at Mount Seaview will cease from 4:30pm Thursday 18 December into the new year. The Oxley Highway will return to single lane alternating flow traffic arrangements in time for the NSW summer school holidays and during 2026.

There will be no weekly full road closures in 2026, weather permitting.

Visit the project website nswroads.work/oxleyrecovery for latest updates. Transport continues to plan for restoration work at other major sites and will keep the community updated as they progress the work.

Thanks to the NSW Small Business Commissioner for following up on this after visiting Walcha businesses during Small Business Month.
