Beyond happy and immensly proud of Squid Productions, being announced as a finalist in the Destination Marketing Category of the Tourism Council Western Australia WA Tourism Awards!

Being able to share some of the most amazing regions of Western Australia with audiences from all over the world is an absolute privilege. I am immensly grateful to be able to dive into a career I'm so passionate about and love, wholeheartedly dedicating my work to helping share the amazing and diverse offerings of WA to as many as possible.

A huge congratulations to the other finalists in the category; Australia's North West, Destination WA, StudyPerth, Australia and Aboriginal Tours & Experiences. As a local owner/ operator business, I feel honoured to be amongst such amazing tourism organisations who all do an outstanding job in showcasing Western Australia as a truly incredible destination.

Also a massive congratulations to all the finalists amongst the other categories in the awards and best of luck, especially Rockingham Wild Encounters and the RTOs, events and businesses of The Amazing South Coast. Writing those submissions is no easy feat and it's awesome to see such a diverse range of businesses and offerings from the industry, passionate about what they do. I look forward to celebrating the many achievements of the industry over the past year at the 2019 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner with you all.

Immensly grateful to be announced as a finalist for the Sir David Brand Young Achiever Medal in the 2019 WA Tourism Awards by Tourism Council Western Australia by Tourism Council Western Australia

After commencing my career in tourism at the age of 14 with Rockingham Wild Encounters, and starting my marketing company, Squid Productions at 18, I have spent over half my life in the industry. Over the last 10 months, it's also been a privilege to expand the regions I showcase, working with The Amazing South Coast. Wholeheartedly dedicating my work to helping share the amazing and diverse offerings of WA to as many as possible, it's a path I know I am immensly passionate about and am grateful to have the opportunity to share with so many.

I feel extremely privileged to be named a finalist amongst many incredibly talented tourism professionals and what a line up of impressive finalists! Women kicking some serious goals for the industry!

An immense thank you to everyone who has been part of my 15 years of adventures in tourism. I know I am where I am, because of the mentorship, support, friendship, challenges, tears, smiles, and everything in between. I've grown up in tourism and looking back at the 14 year old decky, on the dolphin swim boat, I reflect with a smile at everything the journey has been.

I look forward to diving into all the opportunities ahead, to continue sharing my passion for WA's breathtaking offerings and inspiring others to experience this one of a kind part of the world!

A day in the life of Squid Productions-Monday: Editing photographs taken for the McCusker Alzheimers Foundation all morning, whilst watching documentaries, then just finished an awesome photography shoot of delicious dishes at Chutney Mary's... which then turned into a prospective band shoot, which will definitely be fun! Now off to the ocean... Productive and great start to a Monday. We hope your week started with great determination and loving what you do with passion towards your goals too!
