******SANTA CHRISTMAS RUN******

The tickets for our special Christmas Santa Run are now available for purchase online.

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring the children to meet Santa and have photos in a truly unique setting.

This is our second year of running this special day, and given its popularity, please book early to ensure you don't miss out.

Due to the limited numbers, the day will only be available to pre-purchased ticket holders.

OUR TRACK
Our layout is primarily ground level with over of 2,000 metres of 7¼” and 5″ track. Features on this circuit are our steel “Missingweld Bridge”, two timber bridges and three tunnels.

Two of the tunnels allow for a spiral at the “Summit” end of the track. An unloader and steaming bays are located near the canteen end of the track and near the roundhouse is another unloader, turntable and more storage roads.

Colour light signals, both automatic and manual and interlocked points assist in the safe operation of our railway. Our site has undergone many improvements over the years and is still evolving thanks to the continuing efforts of a small army of volunteers. We also take pride in our gardens and landscaping which contribute much to the enjoyment of our private railway.

Signals are an important part of all railways around the world.

This picture shows our signal box which ensures that all of our trains run smoothly around our extensive track. This was constructed by the clubs' members and is a vital part of our railway.

When you next ride our trains have a look at the colour signals, and you will see them operating.

We would like to show off our two current club locos. The blue steam engine on the bottom tracks is called "Warner" and has been a longstanding member of the fleet that has given many rides to passengers over the years.

On the top bridge our other club loco "Murdoch" is heading down the hill with another load of passengers.

Most running days you will have the opportunity to see both of these engines running and have the opportunity to be taken around the clubs track.
