BNI Elevate came together in Yarraville on Thursday, August 6, 2026, for a morning of strong connection, practical learning, and great chapter energy.
This week, Rattana gave the purpose and overview, helping set the tone for the meeting and reinforcing the value of being part of a supportive and growth-focused chapter.
Jeff delivered the education segment, focusing on what great networkers do. His message was a strong reminder that the best networkers listen more than they talk, ask great questions, stay curious, give before they ask, and always follow up. It was a simple but powerful education that gave members practical ways to strengthen relationships and become even better referrers.
Camille presented our core value this week and also delivered a fantastic 10-minute presentation for Schetzer Papaleo Family Lawyers. Her presentation was engaging, informative, and a lot of fun, complete with a quiz and lollies that definitely helped win over the room. Camille shared insight into her background, her team, and the kinds of family law matters her firm helps with, giving members a clear understanding of the referrals that would suit her best.
Instead of a formal open networking question this week, members had a valuable opportunity to reconnect through open networking and book one-to-ones, particularly with our newer members and with chapter members we may not have caught up with for a little while. It was a great reminder of how important it is to keep building and refreshing relationships within the chapter.
Congratulations to Tony, who took out this week’s Golden Mic with a strong weekly presentation.
The chapter also celebrated some outstanding results, with 19 referrals, 3 visitors, 11 one-to-ones, 37 CEUs, and an impressive $64,015 in thank you for closed business. These numbers reflect the strength of the relationships being built and the real business value being created inside BNI Elevate.
Looking ahead, next week’s presenter will be Ritika Mehta from Gold Leaf Conveyancers. If you or someone you know is buying or selling property in Victoria, needs a contract review, or is navigating a family or related-party property transfer, it will be a great meeting to attend.
BNI Elevate continues to be a place where local business owners connect, support one another, and grow through trusted referrals. If you would like to visit, we would love to welcome you.
