Policy of the Week: Acceptable Use (Tech + AI)

Quick tip: if your policy only says, “don’t do bad things,” it won’t protect you. A good Acceptable Use policy is short, clear, and actually usable.

Three things most companies forget to include:

✅What’s allowed vs. not allowed (personal use, downloads, public Wi-Fi, AI tools)

✅Data handling basics (client info, passwords, where files can/can’t live)

✅What happens if something goes wrong (who to notify, what to do first, no blame just action)
