With the weather getting colder and wetter it is important to remember trail maintenance during wet times and how these drainage blocks can be fixed up. Over time silt gathers up, dries up and blocks the exits for the water to continue down the hill. These can be fixed easily as shown in the video below. Make sure to never under take any work without the land holders or clubs permission.
When riding wet trails, make sure to ride through puddles or clear it with a bunny hop. When you ride around the puddle it widens the trail. That's a big no no. If you see a drainage issue, feel free to contact your local club and help resolve the issue.
