This National Reconciliation Week, our teams across Australia came together to participate in the "All In" webinar hosted by Evolve Communities.

The 2026 theme, All In, is a call for all Australians to contribute to reconciliation through meaningful action. It reminds us that reconciliation is not the responsibility of a few, but something we all have a role in advancing through our everyday actions, conversations, and decisions.

As CBC Group embarks on our Reflect RAP journey, the webinar provided an opportunity to deepen our understanding of reconciliation and consider how each of us can contribute to creating more inclusive, respectful, and connected workplaces and communities.

Today, CBC Group is proud to launch our first Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

For more than 30 years, CBC Group has supported Australia’s built environment. Through this RAP, we are committed to strengthening relationships, deepening cultural understanding, and creating meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who contributed to the development of this RAP, including Reconciliation Australia and Dharawal artist Zachary Bennett-Brook, who created the artwork Gathering Currents. It tells the story of connection, values, and Country. At its heart is a bold central circle, symbolising CBC Group and a place of gathering. Radiating out are three strong bands, repeated to embody Unity, Integrity, and Excellence the values that guide CBC Group. Surrounding elements are designs that honour the land, waterways, and environments where CBC Group works. The colours tie everything together: deep blues for oceans and rivers, rich reds for sacred land, and vibrant pinks and purples for the skies at sunrise and sunset.

We believe Reconciliation is a shared responsibility and we are committed to ensuring this RAP becomes a living part of how we operate every day.

Replacing a full HVAC system in a 127-bed aged care facility - while residents are still living in it, takes more than technical know-how.

CBC Group recently completed a Design & Construct HVAC replacement at Mildred Symons House for our long-standing partner {{linkedin_mention(urn:li:organization:840259|Anglicare Sydney)}} delivered across five staged phases over nine months.

The project involved the installation of a new air-cooled VRV heat recovery system, improving efficiency, comfort and long-term reliability for the facility. Working within a live aged care environment, our team planned and coordinated each stage to ensure there were zero unplanned disruptions to resident care throughout the upgrade.

Anglicare's Resident Operations Manager said it best: "We would like to thank you and the team for your commitment and professionalism with our staff and especially our residents."
