Jennifer M Highland is a Public Relations and Marketing Communications Specialist with over 15 years market experience. She holds a Masters Degree in Global Marketing and International Sales from Edinburgh Napier University and a diploma in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations from the UWI Open School Cavehill Campus. She has also completed courses in Project Management with the IDB, Market
ing and General Management for Small Business with the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity. Jennifer has worked extensively with a range of sectors across government, private sector and non-profit entities to bring clarity and effect to their communication, marketing and public relations needs. In addition to developing effective marketing communication plans and media campaigns, her client engagements have included oversight, management and implementation of strategies, that have led to increased awareness of varying organizational initiatives; fostering of community and corporate relationships; corporate communication audits to give definition to best
practice marketing and communications management; and alignment of public relation and marketing tools to optimize stakeholder influence, response and buy-in. Through the Caribbean Israel Leadership Coalition, she managed the diplomatic relations on behalf of Israel for their donation of $2million (GUY) worth in PPEs and medical supplies to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) and the People of the Republic of Guyana, where she coordinated and managed the delivery process and also planned and oversaw the public relations on behalf of the two countries, represented by Israel's Ambassador of the Embassy in Panama and CEO and Board of Directors of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. In addition, she spearheaded the media, public relations and marketing communications
in the Caribbean for The Certificate in Smart Farming Scholarship provided by Israel's
R&D Volcani Institute's NGO arm, Volcani International Partnerships' where over
2000 Caribbean Agri-Stakeholders registered and participated from across the
Caribbean. As a Facilitator, she has added value to corporate and non-profit organizations
through the hosting of Communications and Public Relations workshops and
clinics. In June 2009 Jennifer conceptualized and successfully hosted a premium
family education and stakeholder trade show focused on improved awareness of
