We are pleased to announce the appointment of Javier Lemoine as Director, Tax & Legal at Deloitte Barbados.

Javier has more than 16 years of experience advising multinational clients, including experience gained at other Big Four firms. His expertise spans corporate restructuring, tax audits, Pillar Two advisory, and complex tax matters across Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and Latin America. He has also advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, tax controversy matters, and the evolving international tax landscape.

Javier’s expertise is further strengthened by his legal and commercial background in the shipping and maritime sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Shipping Business and Shipping Law, a Postgraduate Diploma in Shipping Law and is qualified as an Attorney-at-Law.

We welcome Javier to our leadership team and are excited about the continued value he will deliver to clients across Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

We are delighted to share that Miclos Swift has been promoted to Director in our Consulting practice at Deloitte Barbados.

Miclos Swift joined Deloitte in June 2021, bringing with him an extensive background in financial services and bank regulation across the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) and the wider Caribbean Community (CARICOM) region. He has developed deep expertise in regulatory and financial risk, enterprise risk management and corporate governance.
