2023 was a difficult year for many. War, economic turmoil and much more have caused many to fee hopeless.

In this year's NIFCA, I've gained two more Literary Arts awards and an honourable mention in Music

NIFCA Film Screenings night 1 was great. Now I actually wanna go to the one tomorrow at the Gymnasium. There was a broad array of films screened, from 5min shorts to slightly longer offerings in array of styles and genres - music video, dance, Christian and even horror. The quality of all of the films were high and the content, story and direction are all to be applauded. If these talents can continue to be mentored, encouraged but most importantly, funded, then Barbados' film industry has more than hope - it has a seedling 🌱 that needs only to nurtured
