*Parent impact Program *

This free 8 session program for parents is created to equip parents, especially fathers and male Caregivers with the character, confidence and consistency needed to positively influence the lives of their children or at-risk-youth through presence, environment and intentional relationship building.

✅ *Participation Criteria:*
- You are a parent of an at risk youth
- You are currently working with children and youth.
- As a parent, you want to better equip yourself in serving your children
- You have a desire to grow as a parent and an individual

One thing the past few days working together with the Bayland Community and the National Peace Program under 13 football tournament teams from across the island, is that “we have no influence where we are not. “ We have to be present to affect change and impact.

In assisting the other facilitators as they lead their various sessions, so much opportunity revealed itself in many of the responses and questions that were put forth based on the individual topics shared.

Today was my first official day, facilitating and leading a session and though it was a short time (17mins) the boys thoroughly enjoyed the session (fully activity based) and it seemed like they wanted more. Seed sown. They failed at completing both activities but yet still they were encouraged, They were hyped and they were ready to try until they succeeded.

I am taking the small win because as they got into the heat of competition emotions and peer pressure started to take lead.

Nevertheless, this is an open door for me to continue working with them in their respective communities together with their coaches and their families
