এক ব্যক্তি নাপিতের দোকানে চুল কাটাতে গেল। চুল কাটার সময় নাপিত বলল: “আমি আল্লাহকে মানি না।”

লোকটি জিজ্ঞেস করল: “কেন?”

নাপিত বলল: “রাস্তায় বের হয়ে দেখুন—কত অসহায়, কষ্টে থাকা মানুষ! যদি আল্লাহ থাকতেন, তাহলে মানুষের এমন অবস্থা হতো না।”

চুল কেটে লোকটি বাইরে বের হলো। কিছু দূরে গিয়ে সে দেখল—একজন মানুষের চুল খুব এলোমেলো ও অগোছালো।

সে আবার নাপিতের কাছে ফিরে এসে বলল: “এই পৃথিবীতে কোনো নাপিত নেই।”

নাপিত অবাক হয়ে বলল: “আমি তো আছি!”

লোকটি বলল: “না, নাপিত থাকলে ওই লোকটার চুল এমন এলোমেলো হতো না।”

নাপিত বলল: “সমস্যা হলো, মানুষ নাপিতের কাছে আসে না।”

তখন লোকটি বলল: “ ঠিক তেমনি, আল্লাহ তো আছেন—কিন্তু মানুষ আল্লাহর দিকে ফিরে আসে না। যদি মানুষ আল্লাহর দিকে ফিরে আসে, তাহলে অবশ্যই তাদের অবস্থা ভালো হবে।”

সুতরাং, আল্লাহ সবসময় আছেন—আমাদের উচিত তাঁর দিকে ফিরে আসা, তাঁর উপর ভরসা করা এবং তাঁর নির্দেশ মেনে চলা।
