I had the pleasure of attending the Reception and Interaction Session with Chartered Accountants (CAs) and Cost & Management Accountants (CMAs) of Manikganj District, held at Munno Medical College & Hospital, Manikganj.

The programme was graced by Hon’ble Minister Mst. Afroza Khanam, MP, as the Chief Guest and presided over by Mr. Golam Nabi, FCA. A good number of CAs and CMAs participated in the programme.

It was a meaningful gathering that provided an excellent opportunity for professional interaction and exchange of views. I sincerely appreciate the organizers for arranging such a memorable programme.

A special session on “CFO’s Role in the Digital Era” was successfully held tonight, 15 August 2026, under the 200-Hour Young Leadership Development Training Program (200H-YLDTP).

The session was conducted by Mr. Moinuddin Mohammed Rahgir, CFO, bKash Limited, who has around 30 years of experience in finance leadership, including 16 years with BATB and 14 years with bKash.

He shared valuable insights on digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, strategic leadership, and the evolving role of CFOs in creating enterprise value.

🎓 Successful Completion of the Session on Self-Discipline

The 4th session of the 200 Hours Young Leadership Development Training Program (YLDTP) was successfully held today at 7:00 PM at the ICMAB Training Centre.

We were privileged to have Air Commodore (Retd.) Md. Mamunur Rashid, BSP, BUP, NDC, AFWC, PSC, MPhil, CEO of Akij Aviation Limited, as the Resource Person.

He delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking session on "Self-Discipline", highlighting how discipline, integrity, consistency, and personal accountability form the foundation of effective leadership and lifelong success. The participants actively engaged in the session and gained valuable practical insights to apply in both their personal and professional lives.

Successful Inauguration of the 5th Batch of the 200-Hour Young Leadership Development Training Program (200H-YLDTP)

Alhamdulillah, the Inaugural Session of the 5th Batch of the 200-Hour Young Leadership Development Training Program (200H-YLDTP), organized by the Young Leadership Development Committee (YLDC) of ICMAB, was successfully held on 7 July 2026 at the ICMAB Training Centre, Nilkhet, Dhaka.

The session was graced by Mr. Md. Kausar Alam FCMA, President, ICMAB, who delivered the Presidential Speech. We were honored to have Mr. Mohammed Salim FCMA, Past President, ICMAB, as the Chief Guest; Mr. Naba Krishna Muni FCMA, Past Chairman, YLDC, as the Guest of Honour; Mr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam FCMA, Past Secretary, ICMAB, as the Special Guest; and Ms. Zinnia Tanzina Huq FCMA, Chairperson, YLDC, as the Keynote Speaker.

The session was skillfully moderated by Mr. Md. Zasim Uddin FCMA, Vice-Chairman, YLDC.
