5 Main Reasons for Headaches:

​Stress & Anxiety: This is the most common cause of headaches. Due to excessive mental stress, work pressure, or anxiety, the muscles in the neck and head contract, which is known as a 'Tension-type Headache.'

​Lack of Sleep or Irregular Sleep: If you do not get enough sleep (7-8 hours) daily or if your sleep schedule is irregular, your body and brain do not get the necessary rest. This can result in severe headaches.

​Dehydration: When there is a shortage of water in the body, blood vessels temporarily constrict. The brain then does not receive enough oxygen and fluids, which triggers a headache.

​Migraine: This is a specific type of neurological issue. Migraines cause severe, throbbing pain on one side of the head. This pain can worsen due to light, loud noises, or strong smells.

​Eye Problems or Strain: Staring at a computer, laptop, or mobile screen for a long time puts excessive strain on the eyes. Additionally, if there is an issue with your eyesight and you do not use glasses, it can cause a headache.

​Other Common Causes:
​Skipping meals (remaining on an empty stomach), the habit of consuming excessive tea or coffee (or suddenly quitting it), and sinus problems can also cause headaches.
