🎥 PRO Night at Dive Pro Group

Tonight we hosted a PRO Night for divers considering the step into professional training.

We discussed what Divemaster and Instructor pathways really involve — standards, evaluations, responsibility and mindset. No shortcuts. No hype. Just a clear view of what it takes to operate in a safety-critical environment.

Becoming a dive professional is not about a title.
It’s about accountability — in and out of the water.

DAN Instructor Crossover – Belgium

This weekend we completed the DAN Instructor Crossover.

Congratulations to our newly certified DAN Instructors.
Strong professionals, engaged mindset, and a great team spirit throughout the program.

Becoming a DAN Instructor is more than adding a certification.
It means committing to structured first aid education, medical accuracy, and quality delivery.

And we continue.

Additional instructor development sessions are already being planned with this group. Because professional growth does not stop at certification — it evolves through continuous training and refinement.

The "Dolphin Man" and the Rules of the Art 🐬

​Jacques Mayol rewrote the textbooks on diving physiology. Where science once claimed a physical limit at 40 meters, Mayol proved that the human body is capable of much more through adaptation and mental control.

​As a DAN Trainer, I find his collaboration with Dr. Alessandro Marroni (the founder of DAN Europe) particularly profound. Their research into the 'blood shift' and bradycardia at extreme depths laid the groundwork for the modern safety standards we teach today.

​Mayol didn't just dive; he integrated yoga and a philosophy of "oneness" with the sea to push the boundaries of what was thought possible.
