“CASE Webinar: How Stimulus Funding Can Benefit European Companies”

In 2021, to help accelerate the recovery from the economic and health impacts of the COVID 19 pandemic and resulting recession, the U.S. Federal Government is providing trillions of dollars of stimulus funding. A significant portion of the stimulus funding is being distributed directly to state and local governments throughout the United States. These funds will be distributed through two significant federal activities. This webinar will describe both stimulus packages, the key areas of funding and spending goals, the direct economic impact on states and local governments, and provide recommendations for European companies selling to the U.S. state and local government market, including best practices related to the U.S. state and local procurement market and how to mitigate potential and actual risks associated with developing business in this market.

We will be joined on the webinar by National Strategies (NSI), a 25-year-old U.S. state and local government consulting firm that helps both American and foreign companies successfully navigate the U.S. state and local government market. Our key note speaker will be Ai Gordon, CEO of NSI and Nils Ge**er, Senior Advisor for NSI in Germany.

Please forward this invite to anyone in your network who might benefit from this information. As the invite indicates, it is especially targeted towards representative offices, and U.S. state and local EDOs. But companies are welcome to join as well.
Registration is not necessary. Just click on the web link to join the webinar when it starts at 4pm CET on Tues., Sept. 21st. For more information on this webinar, please click herehttps://http://invest-in-usa.org/images/CASE_Webinar_21September2021.pdf

A warm Welcome to our new C.A.S.E. president Joshua Seeberg!
The 17 CASE members elected a new board of directors for the term 2021 – 2023.

Our new C.A.S.E. president Joshua Seeberg is the Director of the European Representative Office for the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, located in Hamburg, Germany since 1,5 years, after transitioning from a decade-long career with the GACC Midwest - German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, Inc. He is stepping into this role with full confidence knowing that the leaving president Sérgio Domingues (Georgia) and the C.A.S.E. board laid a solid foundation for success by incorporating the organization and working tirelessly to offer its 17 member states a valuable platform to promote FDI to the USA and our individual states.

Joshua looks forward to working with the re-elected board colleagues, VP Vanessa Goeschl (South Carolina) and Treasurer Sharon Stead (Illinois) to continue the mission of C.A.S.E.
Together we will offer the value and opportunities that C.A.S.E. member states have come to expect for our future and current European investors into the United States of America. Let’s talk!
