For a long time, I had been thinking about doing the one-year training in hypnotherapeutic communication at the SySt® Institute in Munich.
This year, I finally took the leap — and it turned into one of the most enriching learning journeys I’ve experienced in a long time.
I had the privilege of learning from Godehard Stadtmüller, Gunther Schmidt, Stefan Hammel and Hansjörg Ebell.
Each of them brought deep expertise, lived experience and a very human presence into the teaching.
What stayed with me most were the insights into how change really happens:
✨ that rapport and trust are the foundation of everything
✨ that working with the client’s own words, metaphors and inner images opens real doors to change
✨ that what looks like “resistance” is often a need for protection and safety
✨ that tuning into a person’s preferred sensory language (seeing, hearing, feeling…) makes communication so much more effective
✨ and that, in the end, my voice and presence matter more than perfect wording or grammar
These are just a few highlights — there were many more learnings, both professional and personal, that I’m already integrating into my coaching work.
