Associate Salesforce Systems Administrator/ Adminstrateur système (French-English)

IMC Sarl is recruiting for BOMA PROJECT, an Associate Salesforce Systems Administrator/ un adminstrateur système Bilingue.
BOMA Project (BOMA) is a U.S. non-profit and Kenyan non-governmental organization (NGO) with a proven track record of success, measurable results, and a transformative approach to alleviating poverty and food insecurity, building resiliency, and empowering women and girls in the drylands of Africa. BOMA works to help shape a new system where governments, donors, and NGOs invest in holistic, long-term, sustainable poverty graduation approaches that empower the most vulnerable to achieve an exit from extreme poverty.
BOMA’s poverty graduation program, Rural Entrepreneur Access Project (REAP), helps ultra-poor women start and build businesses and savings groups, increase their household financial and food security, build their resilience to emergencies and shocks such as droughts, invest in their children’s health and education, and have increased voice, choice, and agency in their households and communities.
The BOMA Project Team is growing. We are looking for an Associate Salesforce Systems Administrator to support our programs and technical advisory partnership in the Arid lands of Africa

1. Job Purpose

The Associate Salesforce Systems Administrator will work within the Information Technology team and will be responsible for the day-to-day first level support, configuration and training of staff and partners on use of our Salesforce system within the implementing context. Working closely with colleagues across the Organization and within the team, the Associate Salesforce Systems Administrator will help identify, support development and deployment of new processes and workflows to support our mission as an organization and to improve efficiency in the ways we use our Salesforce System to carry out our strategic mission.

Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore, the Associate Salesforce Systems Administrator should prioritize all aspects of user management including end user support, delivering training, documenting customizations and support in designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and a desire to keep learning as the platform develops. The Associate Salesforce Systems Administrator should be comfortable working closely with colleagues across the organization and with partners within the operating context.

The ideal candidate will also help increase user adoption of Salesforce by inspiring confidence and eliminating knowledge barriers amongst internal and partner teams.

2. Tasks and Responsibilities

User Assistance, Training, Adoption and Satisfaction
• Provide first level system support to end users;
• Create and administer training to existing or new users/groups;
• Provide one to one training to end users on an on-going basis;
• Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements and changes to the system;
• Monitor usage and mentor users/groups needing assistance,
• Continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience.

Process Création, Documentation and Maintenance
• Document company processes and workflows,
• Develop process documentation and field maps,
• Create new processes and associated reporting,

Data Quality, Migration and Maintenance
• Import data as appropriate ;
• Manage duplicate records ;
• Train mentors on tablet use and maintenance ;
• Support updating of the mentor support guide based on context specific needs;
• Provide first level support to mentors on Taroworks issues;
• Support in creation of new mentor Taroworks Accounts;
• Support in job and record assignment to mentors;
• Support in creation, editing and mapping of surveys created using TaroworksSupport in monitoring and improving data quality.

Report and Dashboard Creation and Maintenance -
• Create and maintain dashboards,
• Create and maintain reports including folder maintenance.

Mentor Support
• Train mentors on tablet use and maintenance ;
• Support updating of the mentor support guide based on context specific needs;
• Provide first level support to mentors on Taroworks issues;
• Support in creation of new mentor Taroworks Accounts;
• Support in job and record assignment to mentors;
• Support in creation, editing and mapping of surveys created using Taroworks.

3. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required ;
• English – Fluent written and spoken
• French – Native level fluency written and spoken;
• Excellent analytical ability and strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required;
• Experience working with digital data collection tools;
• Ability to work effectively with different teams;
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes;
• Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology;
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferred;
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality preferred;
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Salesforce administrator preferred;
• Experience with nonprofit processes preferred

4. Skills and Personal Qualities

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests;
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills;
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization;
• Ability to critically evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources;
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and other integrated systems;
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
