We love Deb’s energy and talent, and we know she’ll take the results of our bead-making workshops with Vlad and Damyana to the next level. She’ll start with jewelry-making basics, and once the student-made beads are fired, she’ll lead a full workshop on turning them into stunning jewelry.

Day 7...and off we go to the town of Troyan - a small town in the middle of Northern Bulgaria famous of its fine craftsmanship and especially with the ceramics. We visited the local Art & Crafts Museum which offers a great collection of local art and history artefacts throughout the years which everyone enjoyed a lot. We also did a little walk around the town center and had an amazing lunch at a local restaurant 🍽️🙃

Dreaming, launching and finally making happen Golem Retreats 's first edition this September was definitely our highlights for the year. We'll be forever thankful to our dear first group for taking a chance on us and letting us share so many special moments together. It definitely wasn't just work for us, it was an amazing adventure that we can't wait to begin again next year with our groups of hopefully future friends.

For 2025 we're more focused and determined than ever, having even more ambitious plans but what we're happy to share for now are the sure dates for more Bead & Ceramic focused retreats (May 25-June 1 & September 14-September 21).

Imagine 7 days full of ceramic workshops - bead making, tile painting, something new too - jewelry design workshop (with an American designer), studio tours but also some sightseeing, live concerts, local wine tastings, amazing food, time for relax in our beautiful villa with private pool, whirlpool bath and sauna and so much more! How does that sound to you?
