✅ What Is DTF Printing?
DTF printing is a process where a design is printed onto a special PET film using DTF inks, then coated with hot-melt adhesive powder, and finally heat-pressed onto a garment.
Unlike DTG (Direct-to-Garment), DTF does not require pre-treatment and can print on almost any fabric.

🎨 How the DTF Process Works
1. Design Preparation
Create your artwork in PNG or vector format.
2. Print on Film
A DTF printer prints your design onto a PET film using CMYK + White inks.
3. Apply Hot Melt Powder
The printed film is coated with powdered adhesive while the ink is still wet.
4. Cure the Powder
The film is heated so that the powder melts and bonds to the ink.
5. Heat Press Transfer
Place the cured film onto the garment and press it using a heat press (usually 150–160°C for 10–15 seconds).
6. Peel Off Film
Peel warm or cold depending on the film type.
7. Final Press
A second press (2–5 seconds) improves durability.
