Today is World Autism Awareness Day.

Neurodivergence can deeply impact many lives. When a child is diagnosed with a special condition, parents may feel emotionally overwhelmed. They often experience anxiety about the future and the weight of social stigma.

Their first questions are often, “Will it be possible for my child to become ‘normal’?” and “When can they go to a mainstream school?”

As a progressive society, it is our responsibility to support, include, and accept individuals with special conditions and their families—with empathy, understanding, and respect.

On 7th November 2025, the Integrated Intervention Center (IIC) joyfully celebrated Diwali with our precious children, amazing parents, wonderful staff, and distinguished guests — Ms. Renuka Nambiar Ravindran, an eminent businesswoman in Bahrain; Ms. Madhuri Prakash Devji, Executive Director at Quality Education School; Ms. Raji Unnikrishnan, Senior Journalist in Bahrain; Dr. Praveen Kumar, Cardiologist in Bahrain; and Ms. Mohinin Thomas, President of the Keraleeya Samajam Vanitha Vedi. Ms.Rhema Joy Dela Cruz.

It was a day filled with light, laughter, and togetherness. Our children beautifully showcased their talents through delightful cultural performances, making the celebration truly special and memorable for everyone present.
