Abaco Police Dept is sharing these common ten ticketed violations. They will begin cracking down on the set laws so please make sure your cars are licensed and insured and you are following the local laws to avoid getting a rather pricey ticket.

Listed below are ten (10) traffic offenses and fines that are committed on a daily base. Please take the opportunity and review the offenses and fines. We will upload ten (10) offenses and fines frequently.
Driving or permitting another to drive an unlicensed motor vehicle =$250.00
Driving or permitting another to drive a motor vehicle whilst not covered by third party risk insurance coverage =$250.00
Driving or permitting another to driver a motor vehicle without a drivers license=$250.00
Failing to stop at a traffic sign or failing to stop a motor vehicle while approaching a school zone =$250.00
Disobey the traffic light burning red=$250.00
Driving an uninspected motor vehicle=$100.00
Driving a motor vehicle whilst not secured by a seat belt or permitting passenger(s) to ride whilst not secured by seatbelt=$100
Passenger riding while not secured by seat belt=$150.00
Leaving a motor vehicle with engine running or without taking precautions against it being started in his/her absence= $75.00
Driving without giving proper signals=$50.00
