If you missed me, here’s why.

Someone corrected me on Sunday when I said in church that Boss League is going to another level. She said, “Not another level…a new dimension.”

So if you haven’t see me “outside”, I’m not missing, I’m just in the dark room, the green room, the fields, and the valleys doing everything I can to prepare for take off.

Had our first ever mentor training session in the 5 years we’ve been doing this to officially onboard new mentors and students we’ll be training as the next batch of community, civic, business, and national leaders.

New dimension here we come.

With youth unemployment among 15-24 year olds just over 20%, numbers like this are only part of the story.

What matters more, however, is what we do about it. Boss League Summer Camp is a start. It's where young people in grades 7-12 can start building real skills, real confidence, and real direction for toward their future.

Candid moment.

My sister took this shot without me realizing it. I don’t know what I was saying or laughing at. But I can definitely tell you how we got to this moment.

It’s a Sunday morning. I’m dressed for church but by the time I got in the car, I suddenly felt unwell.

I took a few minutes to decide if to go back in the house and lay down or continue where I was going.

We ended up barefoot at the beach instead…breathing the salt air intentionally, having both serious and lighthearted conversations.

This day also happened to be the eve of the 7th anniversary of our mother’s passing and 3 weeks since the passing of someone whom our mother secretly told to look out for us after she was gone.

This beach also happened to be Mummy’s favorite beach. We tried to remember whose idea it was to come here that day we left her behind in the hospital for the final time. We probably hoped we’d find her there.

What I love about this pic is that it’s not staged. No fake smiling. It’s a smile that says, “I’m still here and I’m okay.” And even when okay is the minimum, that’s okay.

Today’s goal. Remember to breathe. If you’re just “okay”, that’s okay.

Everyone is posting their ChatGPT caricatures and some of them look incredibly detailed...including the ones that have three and four arms.

It's like a silent shout out to the people who do all the things.

I did it too. Instead, though, I asked it to create a random caricature and this is what I got. Ya boy couldn't be more opposite from me.

The accuracy of your caricature image is not because AI is magical or because it knows you. It is simply giving back to you what you gave to it.

That means that one or even all of these things may be true.
👉🏽One, you use this tool way more than you think.
👉🏽Two, you may not be using it as skillfully.
👉🏽Three, you may be exposing yourself on this big wide internet.

I can show you how to use AI without losing your tone, your time, your boundaries, or your creativity.

DAY 5 AI LITERACY BOMB 💣:
This week's viral ChatGPT Caricature trend was perfectly timed. Those funny little portraits floating around were cute.

But this mini-lesson series was designed to help you gain the foundational understanding of what AI is, how it works, and how to make it work for you beyond the fun and games.

Here we are with a practical activity to help navigate in these AI streets.

*You may be able to use ChatGPT without signing in if you're not ready to create an account.

📚 Your Practice Assignment

Use ChatGPT to help you write feedback to this 5-day micro course and post it in the comments section. Don't spend more than 10 minutes working on this. I'll tell you why in the live class.

1️⃣ Create a "prompt"
Example: “Help me write a response to a 5-day micro course I just completed.”

2️⃣ Add "context"
Example: “I found the information helpful and learned things I didn’t know.”

3️⃣ Add "constraints"
Example: “Keep it under 100 words.” “Use a professional and warm tone.”

4️⃣ Check for "hallucinations"
Did it add things you never said? Did it make up details? If yes, correct it and run it again.

5️⃣ Review your "output"
If the tone feels off, that’s normal. AI can’t read your mind or guess what you wanted to say.
Refine it. Add clearer context. Ask it to rewrite until it sounds like you.

6️⃣ When you’re finished
