Is your business challenge really traffic, or are you simply not maximizing the traffic you already have?
Most business owners think they need more customers. Sometimes they do. But just as often, the biggest opportunity is improving what happens before, during, and after someone interacts with your business.
Before: How are people finding you? What made them choose you?
During: Does your team create an experience that builds trust, solves problems, and encourages people to buy?
After: Are you following up? Staying connected? Collecting valuable customer information? Giving people a reason to return or refer others?
Your team isn't responsible for bringing in every customer. They are responsible for making the most of every opportunity that comes through your doors. As a leader, your responsibility is to make sure they have the guidance, structure, and support to do exactly that.
Are your expectations clear and consistent or do they change with the weather? Do your team members have the right tools?
Do you have processes and procedures that create consistency?
Are you coaching your team, or simply hoping they'll figure it out?
Your team will often reflect the leadership they receive. Like a shepherd guiding a flock, your role is to provide direction, correct course when needed, and keep everyone moving toward the same goal.
Most business challenges can be improved with the right leadership, clear processes, and intentional customer experiences.
Let's have a conversation about what's really holding your business back and create a strategy that helps your business grow.
