Within the past few years’ the Bahamian music industry has went through a massive overhaul with newer and younger Bahamian artist now leaning towards more urban and pop forms of music. During this major restructuring period many rap groups have been formed and disbanded shortly thereafter. This saying is true save for a selected few and the Bahama Boyz the critically acclaimed duo that seems to be withstanding the many obstacles that comes along with pairing your talent with another’s. The obviously Bahamian rap double act often referred to as ‘‘The Hype Duo'' comprises of mcs’ Flow (Ronald Roker) and HD (Omri Kelly). Both rappers bring pure fire whenever they get in the booth but their styles vary from each other drastically. It is this exact chemistry which they have maintained between each other over the years. Since their formation in 2006 the pair has produced a string of locally successful songs starting with their first radio single ''Hold Me close'' featuring ''Smooth'' and ''Dreamz'' Their latest installment is the street anthem ''Get Dough'' Featuring legendary Bahamian rapper D-Bo. The track is lyricist free for all, which none of the three monster rappers involved would allow themselves to be out done. This friendly competitiveness brought forth a very profound hip-hop track. The pair confidently assures their fans that the up-coming singles will be packing even more heat than their previous works. Along with their lyrical wizardry in the studio the guys pride themselves on their off the wall stage presence and showmanship. On Their humble come up the pair has had the opportunity to open for such artist as Keisha Cole, Buju Banton, Morgan Heritage, and Jah Cure. They’ve also headlined the 2008 Bahamas Dj Awards and the Bahamas Cultural Fest in Miami Florida alongside ''Puzzle'' '' Bino'' and ''Avvy''. In a virtually short period of time the guys Of Bahama Boyz have covered a great deal of ground in the industry claming more and more fans every day. With Their movement in full swing the talented two are poised to leave their mark on the Bahamian and International music industry.
