As our children are writing end of term exams, parents are informed that Transformational Coach Dr. Tebogo T. Mapodisi has donated notes and past question papers to Somerset Sun -Guest House Community Service Project. Francistown Scout Cub Commissioner Pat Maedza coordinates the papers at her house. Bana ba feta ka ene as and when they can, to borrow notes, copy and return. Maitseboa any day, ba ba kgonang ba feta ka ene to rehearse questions and answers. Those who stay far ko Botsalano le Extension, ba dima dipampiri, ba di dirisa and return them.

Every Saturday 4pm ko Guest Houseng, before Scout drill, there is information sharing, studying and tutoring. We have a University Student who is available during the week every day maitseboa at the Guest House go ba thusa ka Math's n Science til 31 July.

Bana ba itse this arrangement but batsadi ba ntseng ba sa itse,encourage your children to associate with others. Birds of the same feather fly together . When they read together, they will pass together and go to university together. They will never be lost as long as they got each other cz there is safety in numbers.

Thank you Kesaobaka Bakang Mbi from Somerset East for attending the Ticket to Life Induction which was held yesterday at YWCA in Francistown. It was short notice but you made it together with Mothers of our Cubs and Scouts, Bo Mme Masego ka bobedi, Pat Maedza le Mme Irine Phana . Thank you Volunteer Parents, le re tshwaretse baeng.

Bo Mme Masego ka bobedi were there at our children's first Scout Camp in February 2026, ko Selepa, ba robetse le bana alongside other parents, ba tlhokometse bana. Thank you to all parents who have been therefor the SomersetSunScoutTroopfromthe beginning. Le gone go tsisa bana, is partnership. Thats what the Parental Pitso we held on 2nd May 2026 was all about: mabogo dinku a thebana.

Thank you Botswana Scouts Association for the opportunity extended to Somerset Sun -Guest House Community Service Project to bring its youth to be capacitated. Le kamoso betsho.

Kelvin Mirie, Officer - Membership and Capacity Building from the World Scout Bureau Africa Support Centre, Nairobi will be at YWCA tomorrow from 8am to lead our induction on:
