consultations, coaching, presentations and workshops. Image Consultants are known by such titles as wardrobe consultants, fashion
stylists or makeover consultants and etiquette coaches. We offer services to
individuals and corporates, we also

advice on hairstyles, makeup and grooming. We also advice people on their vocal communication ( voice grammar,

One of the things I really enjoy about my work is doing personal shopping!

Yesterday afternoon I had to go find little wardrobe pieces that make ALL the difference to one's outfit and I had an awesome time at it.

Image is not just about outward appearance, it is about one's state of mind, the whole person if I may call it that.

And so, a few timely reminders as we start this week to you;

1. Psychologists have correctly said that 'when one is truly ready for a thing, it puts in its appearance'. This speaks to adopting a definite purpose, and standing by that purpose until it had time to become an all consuming obsession. It speaks to determination, persistence that is destined to mow down all opposition and bring you the opportunity you are seeking.

2. Be aware of this thing called opportunity. It often appears in a different form and from a different direction than that we often expect. That is one of the tricks about 'opportunity', it has a sly habit of slipping in by the back door, and often comes disguised in the form of misfortune or temporary defeat. Perhaps this is why so many fail to recognize opportunity.

With these two points in mind, remember that before success comes in any mans life, he/she is sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and perhaps some failure. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to quit. And that's exactly what majority do. But the most successful men will tell that their greatest success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat has overtaken them. Failure is a trickster with a keen sense of irony and cunning. It takes great delight in tripping one when success is almost within reach.

The line between work wear and casual wear is getting more and more blurred. This is not good!

Even though you may not think much about what you wear to work, remember that decisions are being made by your superiors, colleagues and clients about your capabilities, whether they can trust you or not, what to trust you with, what you are worth etc, looking at your personal image.

Remember that people's perception of you is 55% how you look, even before opening your mouth to say a single word!
