We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely appreciate Mr. Thato J. Bonno from the Botswana Power Corporation for his dedication, support and excellent service to us at BelaBela Quarries.

We previously experienced frequent and intermittent power interruptions, which had a significant impact on our operations. After engaging with Mr. Bonno and sharing our concerns, he took the matter seriously and played an important role in the restoration of the BelaBela Substation. Since then, we have experienced a much more stable and reliable power supply.

What we particularly appreciate is his commitment to keeping us informed. Whenever there is a power interruption, Mr. Bonno communicates promptly and ensures that we are updated on the situation and restoration progress. This level of responsiveness and engagement means a lot to us as a customer.

Thank you, Mr. Bonno, for listening to our concerns, taking action and continuously keeping the lines of communication open. Your efforts have made a real difference to our operations, and we truly value and appreciate your service.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Thero Moremi as Contract Manager, following her successful management of since February 2024.

Thero Moremi began her career with Botswana in 2012 as a student trainee after graduating in Mining Engineering from the University of Botswana. Over the years, she has built extensive operational & technical experience, supported by both Underground & Open Cast Blasting Licences.
